Scotland

i'm heading off for the Isle of Bute in a couple of hours. I've made a journal from experimental drawing papers.

it's mostly a working tour but i have a few days free on Bute, might do a bit of twitching!

hope i see some kilts!

The journal looks fascinating Angie, can you share some tips on how the papers were made?

How wonderful Angie. What an opportunity. I bet that they will love your workshops up there. Enjoy yourself and take lots of photos to share.

I made the papers by painting and printing on a large piece of cartridge paper and ripping them into smaller pieces so that you get an unplanned pattern on each piece. It helps when trying to understand composition.
