I had a super duper time in Dublin last week, first i was working for the Dublin Embroiderers Guild who were enthusiastic and wonderful (i'd say that about all my groups though, stitchers are so friendly). We were making Bejewelled Bags and here are some images of them nearlly finished.

i can't remember who's who's but this one above was made by my host Eithne Carey who wanted to do a pocket
see pockets post Thanks to Eithne who made my stay a memorable one.

I extended my stay by booking a hotel in the city with my friend caroline and we had a jolly old time wandering the streets and visiting museums and galleries, our favourite place being the Chester Beatty Library full of ancient manuscripts, wonderful. i had a chance to sing at a couple of music sessions particulary o'donoghue's bar famous haunt of the dubliners.
